On the occasion of the Beyrouth Livres festival, L’Orient-Le Jour handed over its newsroom to writers. Twenty-one authors, illustrators, and graphic novelists produced the special edition of October 23, 2025. In this third edition of L’Orient of Writers, created with the support of the Institut français du Liban, L’Orient-Le Jour invited a group of writers, illustrators, and graphic novelists to take over its newsroom for a day. The special issue, published on October 23, 2025, brought together twenty-one unique voices. This portfolio offers a selection from that edition — pieces we chose to translate into English and share with L’Orient Today readers.
