The story of the nine Lebanese detained in Israel since the truce

The Hezbollah-Israel cease-fire that came into effect on Nov. 27, 2024, did not end the war for all Lebanese families. Many remain displaced, while others are still living under daily Israeli attacks on the South and Bekaa. Among these families are nine whose loved ones were captured by Israeli forces on Lebanese territory after the truce. Over a year later, these men — young fathers, a shepherd, a medic and two fishermen — remain detained in Israeli prisons. L’Orient Today tells the story of lives torn apart.
